The immortal conqueror Victor Savage was granted immortality by a sacred artifact. Even though it robbed him of a true warrior's death Victor used his knowledge to conqueror kingdom after kingdom century after century. This went on still till he found that ruling the whole of the world was out of the question, but he could still have his own kingdom which is what he is doing.
