Rayne Blackwood is a vision of soft edges and wide-eyed innocence, a quiet presence in her college lecture halls and the cold prep rooms of Widowmaker and Son's Mortuary. Most people see a girl who has been through far too much, a survivor of a family tragedy that left her mother dead and her father a ghost.
